SOCIAL
AOIIs love being able to socialize with other Greeks! Each week we have fun exchanges with the fraternities, and our sisters enjoy their friendships with other sorority women and fraternity men. Some of our favourite past exchanges have included salsa dance lessons, pumpkin carving, candy apple making, and trivia nights. We are excited to see what our Social External Chair plans this term!
We end each year with our annual Rose Ball, a chance for our ladies to class it up in their formal wear and enjoy a sit-down dinner and dancing with their dates. This year's Rose Ball was held at Sage Bistro. We also announce which sisters won awards for academics, philanthropy, chapter involvement, and living by AOII’s values.
We also love participating in All-Greek events, like Songfest and other Greek philanthropies. These provide a great opportunity for us to spend some time together, have fun, and get to know our fellow Greeks. We had a fantastic time putting together our Songfest 2015 routine!
We celebrate the end of each term with a big social event! Semi-formal happens at the end of first term, and is a fantastic night full of delicious food and dancing. Our December 2014 Semi-Formal was held at Twelve West. At each Semi-Formal we hand out awards like the “Most Supportive Sister” bra and “Best Big/Little Pairing” tiaras!
