Hi! My name is Gabby, and I am Beta Kappa's Vice President of Membership Recruitment. I am so excited that you are visiting our website and I hope that you have learned a little bit more about our wonderful sisters and chapter.

 

Only two years ago, I was in your shoes: both extremely excited and nervous about my new journey at UBC. Deciding to go through Formal Recruitment made my first few weeks on this gigantic campus much easier, and it was a decision that I will never regret. Along with an education, I was looking to have opportunities to make my university years as well-rounded as possible and to make memories that I would never forget. That is exactly what I found. Through Alpha Omicron Pi, I have become an active member in an extremely supportive Greek community, held multiple leadership positions and had chances to compete in numerous REC events. But most importantly, I have met some of the most extraordinary women I know today, and made friendships that I know will last a lifetime. Alpha Omicron Pi has given me unconditional support and these women have been one of the best support systems I have had throughout university. We have laughed together, cried together, danced together, and have always been there for each other no matter what. 

 

I know Recruitment may seem overwhelming at first, but I also know that without it, I would not have had all of the amazing opportunities these past couple of years. Making the choice to go through Formal Recruitment is a decision you will not regret, and I hope that you are as excited as we are to meet you! Here, at Alpha Omicron Pi, we have found our home away from home, and I hope you do too!
